Two
Visions: Victory
– When All
Seems Lost!
What's
Happened, and Can
It Change?
When
we look at today's
culture –
the media, entertainment,
government, family,
education, and more
–
it appears
the battle for righteousness
has been lost in
our nation. I
cannot help but
think of those like
James Dobson and
Focus on the Family
who for years have
fought the good
fight, taking a
stand for righteousness
in America.
We
pray for them, and
believe their labor
has NOT been in
vain!
(Please
see some encouragement
at the end of this
from the word "Singin'
in the Rain")

Some
are saying: "It's
Our World Now...!"
At this
time it seems many who
have been rallying for
Abortion, Gay Rights,
and unrighteousness are
now shouting the victory
and saying: "We're
going to have our way
now." One source
actually boasted "It's
our world now –
get over it!"
50
Years of Decline
It's
clear, the
godly foundations of this
once great nation have
been rapidly declining
for decades. All
areas of our culture from
education to government,
from family to entertainment,
from media to business,
and others, have declined
through unrighteousness.
Some say this all began
in 1962 when prayer was
taken out of our schools.
How did this happen?
First,
How Did Our Nation Get
To This Point?
There's a famous saying:
"Evil prevails
when good men do nothing."
Holy Scripture also says:
"While men slept
the enemy sowed tares."
Matt. 13:25
For
decades much
of the Church
has been sleeping,
and this is evidenced
by what we see today in
our nation and our culture!
The
church has not influenced
the culture – but
rather the culture
has greatly influenced
the church!
We
Have More "Wow"
Than Ever...?
The
past decade the Church
has had more "wow"
– more media, more
technology, and more clever
"creative" marketing
tools than ever
–
yet
the Church is weaker,
more deceived, and more
filled with sin than its
ever been.
Why? Contemporary
tools can be good, but
many churches in
order to be "seeker
sensitive" have
compromised and abandoned
God's ways. They have
also ceased to preach
the full counsel of God's
Word. Instead,
they are feeding the sheep
mostly cotton candy and
sweets, as well as teaching
them to build castles
in the sand that will
not stand. (Matt.
7:24-27; Rev. 3:17-19)
The
American Dream?
Another
reason righteousness hasn't
prevailed is because
much of the Church has
lost it's "eternal"
perspective, and seem
more interested in living
for the "here and
now." Many have fallen
into the comfort zone
of living the "American
dream" –
I got my job, my home,
my 2 1/2 children, we're
happy...but are they really?
Instead of setting our
affections on the things
important to God, many
have been seduced
by the world, and have
become lovers of themselves,
money, and pleasures more
than lovers of God.
| |
"But
know this, in
the last days perilous
times will come, for
men will be lovers
of themselves,
lovers of money, boasters,
proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents,
unthankful, unholy,
unloving, unforgiving,
slanderers, without
self-control, brutal,
despisers of good,
traitors, headstrong,
haughty, lovers
of pleasure rather
than lovers of God,
having a form of godliness
but denying
its power. 2 Timothy
3:1-5 |
Quote
from a famous General
– a Lesson for the
Church!
In WWII this General had
just taken command of
a losing army and noted:
"You want to
know why this outfit got
the [stuffing] kicked
out of it? A blind man
could spot it. They
don't act like soldiers;
they don't look like soldiers;
why should they be expected
to fight like soldiers?"
– General Patton.
This
could easily parallel
much of the Church right
now – sadly, many
in the Church today do
not act, look, or live
like Christians, so why
should they be expected
to stand up and fight
like Christians (being
salt and light)?
The
Church Must Change –
Before it Can Change a
Nation
Before
we can truly influence
and impact the soul of
a nation, and fully engage
the culture as salt and
light – we must
first get our house in
order! 1 Peter 4:17. Much
of the Church seems to
be in a backslidden state,
and right now, many
can't take a stand for
righteousness in our land
because they themselves
are living in hidden sin
and unrighteousness.
There must be
a strong call for true
"repentance"
and a return to righteousness
in the Church and Five-fold
ministry! It's
time to clean the house
and put it in order,
so we can truly be His
Glorious Church in the
earth – rescuing
souls and engaging our
culture.
Note:
In the coming weeks, we
will be addressing many
of these things in more
detail regarding the Church
– both the problems,
and we believe solutions
from-the-heart-of-God..
Also God's great plan
to do a "glorious"
work in and thru His Church
in the earth!

Does
God have a Plan
for Victory?
Absolutely YES!
God IS
in control and although
much seems to be
lost and getting
worse, He has a
plan. And we believe
two recent visions
below show He has
a Winning Strategy.
We pray they bring
hope! God
has been setting
everything up
as part of His brilliant
plan! See

Three
Biblical examples
of: Victory
– When
All Seems
Lost
These
are just a
few of many
throughout
Biblical history.
|
 |

|
Moses
& Israel
– the
Red Sea and
an impossible
Victory
We
all know the
story, Israel
appeared to
be trapped
against the
sea, with
no way out,
with the Egyptian
army bearing
down. Then
God suddenly
does what
seems impossible,
parting the
great sea,
and revealing
the hidden
path already
there. Leading
His people
to safety,
then covering
the enemy
in the same
sea, defeated
and never
to rise again.
God
setup the
enemy for
major defeat,
and an historic
victory for
His people!
Joseph
– from
Dungeon to
Ruler in One
Day, then
Greatly Influenced
a Nation
God
had given
Him a dream
of ruling
one day, but
it seemed
the exact
opposite had
happened.
Then
at the appointed
time, suddenly,
in one day
he was summoned
to use his
God-given
gift, and
everything
changed.
He saw his
God-given
dream become
a reality,
as he was
used to save
God's people
and bring
provision
in the midst
of great crisis.
Jesus
– Death
on the Cross,
then Resurrection
and the Greatest
Victory of
All
To
all the disciples
it appeared
that their
Messiah, along
with all their
hopes and
dreams was
dead and lost
with Jesus
dying on the
cross, then
buried in
the tomb.
But God had
a plan...and
on the third
day when Jesus
Christ arose
with resurrection
power, it
became clear
God had a
master plan
all along
for a Great
Victory!
These
great examples
show that
God always
has a plan
for great
victory, just
as He does
now! We believe
this will
be seen very
soon... |

Two
Visions of God's
Strategy
Published
Jan. 22, 2009: visions
from Jan. 15, 2009
–
Cindy deVille
Preface:
During
a time of prayer
I had two open visions-
one was right after
another –
like watching a
movie reel. I believe
they communicated
the fact that God
had a strategy –
I believe they may
relate to His workings
and the victory
He has in store
for His Church.
First
Vision:
Card
Game – the
Winning Hand
I
saw a round card
table (like a poker
table). I saw a
man (I didn't see
his features, just
knew it was a man)
with cards in his
hands. He was looking
at his cards with
great excitement
and great confidence,
almost arrogantly
because he had such
a great hand and
knew he was going
to win the game.
There
were lots of people
on his side of the
table
and they were all
gathered around
as he showed them
his cards. They
were so excited
knowing this was
going to be their
big win, and the
game would be theirs.
Again they were
so confident and
almost with an arrogance.
Then,
they threw all their
chips into the middle
of the table, confident
they were going
to win big.
It was time for
them to show their
hand, so they eagerly
laid down all their
cards on the table.
It
was as though I
were standing back
behind the person
who was on the opposite
side of the table
– this was
the view I had.
I didn't see who
it was at first,
because I was standing
behind Him, and
I noticed no one
else was standing
on his side of the
table, just Him.
He
then stood up abruptly
and with great authority
laid His hand on
the table. Then
I saw and knew that
it was God. As He
revealed His hand
of cards the opponents
couldn't believe
it – they
were in shock, because
His hand was greater
than theirs. He
had clearly defeated
them and won the
game! They could
hardly believe it
– they were
absolutely convinced
it was already their
win, but when God
showed His cards
it was all over!
God
had the greater
hand, and He took
all the winnings!
Everything changed.
Second
Vision:
A
Commander General's
Surprise Attack
I saw a war going
on and the Commander
General and his
troops secretly
off to the side.
His soldiers were
eager, even zealous
to move forward
into combat because
the enemy was so
very close and greatly
advancing towards
reaching their goal.
They were almost
there. It
seemed the Commander...

FOR
ENCOURAGEMENT:
We
pray some
of the below
lines from
the word "Singin'
In The Rain"
bring encouragement.
"Those
who have experienced
great pain...
The
pain will
turn and bring
gain, it will
bring glory...
Those who
have sown
in tears thru
the years,
thru disappointments,
thru pain,
thru confusion,
in
tears they
will reap
in joy –
they will
reap...
There
are many who
have said,
and are saying
that, all
that I've
done has seemed
in vain.
I've sown
righteousness,
I've sown
faithfulness,
I've sown
love, and
I've not seen
the harvest,
I've not seen....
But I have
seen, says
the Lord.
I have seen.
I
have kept
a book of
remembrance,
I have written
down everything...
In
the midst
of all of
your pain,
know I was
working, I
was working...
For you have
wept in your
pain, but
you will now
– Sing
in the rain."
