America
– The
Prodigal
America
has been rich
in history,
strength,
greatness.and
blessings.
She has been
known as the
great superpower
of the world.
When
looking at
historical
writings
we find great
evidence of
an overall
grand and
godly heritage,
a nation that
once honored
God.
This is also
highlighted
by the Statue
of Liberty
in New York
harbor crying
out from these
once bountiful
shores –
to people
around the
world in need...
"Give
me your tired,
your poor,
your huddled
masses yearning
to breathe
free...!"
Sadly,
this image
of America
has been slowly
fading for
decades, for
she has abandoned
most of her
godly heritage,
and it seems
she has rejected
God in most
every way.
But there
is hope! |

An
Overview
Yesterday
(Mar.02.09)
America
saw
the
stock
market
dive
to 6,800
points
(news
link).
Many
may
not
remember
that
not
too
long
ago
in October
of 2007,
the
stock
market
had
just
reached
a record
high
of over
14,000
points.
It's
dropped
over
50%.
What
happened
after
October
2007's
highpoint?
In
the
following
months
of November,
and
December
2007,
there
came
several
strong
prophetic
cries
and
warnings
to America
–
God
spoke
of the
wealth
dissipating,
markets
falling,
increase
in natural
disasters,
shifting
economies,
and
much
more.
Since
that
time
news
headlines
have
helped
tell
the
progressive
story,
of a
nation
coming
undone,
much
like
the
Prodigal
from
Biblical
times.

America’s
only
hope,
and
only
solution
–
to turn
back
to God,
who
made
her

Message
Adjustment
During our prayer
and preparation
time for the message
we had planned for
today, the Holy
Spirit moved upon
us with a great
weight of mourning
and intercession
for America.
We believe God would
have us share this
with you today instead
of the message we
had planned.
We must follow His
lead.
Preface:
As
we were in prayer
and preparation,
I began to weep,
and It's like I
felt God in great
agony and anguish
over the condition
of our nation.
I've never had a
word come quite
like this, where
there was such a
deep mourning and
weeping. I believe
it's because God
does not want to
see America stripped
of her greatness,
but wants to see
her turn back to
Him, so He can show
His goodness and
restore her for
His end-time plans.
Please
Note: The following
word is also a form
of intercession,
showing her current
path of destruction
– but things
can change if America
will awake and turn
back to God,
just as the Prodigal
son returned to
his Father. and
was received with
open arms.
There is great HOPE
for our nation,
and we are also
believing and anticipating
a Great Awakening!
The
Father's Heart Cry

see a nation once
so great and so
grand. I see everything
being stripped from
her...
(more
weeping...I felt
God's heart breaking
for this nation...)
"She's
weak, and deaf,
and blind, and poor,
and she used to
cry out from her
shore...
'Give
me your tired, your
poor, give me your
huddled masses yearning
to be free....'
America
has said she's free,
but she's not free.
She is a slave to
the enemy.
She is in bondage,
she is in bondage,
she is not free.
Because she has
not heeded Me.
She has not heard
Me and heard My
cry.
So
now she will be
like those she once
cried out to.
Now she will be
the poor.
She once cried out
from her shores
– 'Come, and
we will help you!'
But now she will
cry out –
'Come and help me!
Come and help me!
Come and help me!'
(intense
weeping and mourning,
feeling God's heart
and agony over this...)
This
is how America will
be.
She will no longer
be strong.
For she is weak,
and she is blind.
She would not hear
My cry.
She would not heed
Me, and I cannot
help her.
Oh,
if she will but
cry out to Me...
I would come to
her aid so quickly
– I would
come! I would come!
I would run to her
aid! I would come!
But
she will not cry
out to Me!
She will not turn
to Me!
America,
she will cry out
from her shores.
She will cry out
– 'I'm so
tired, I'm so poor.
I have nothing more
to give you.'
Why
will she not hear
My cry?
Why will she not
listen to Me?
For
I can make her strong
again, I can keep
her safe from her
enemies.
If she will but
call Me her friend,
I can make her strong
again.
I can restore
her wealth, and
I can cause her
to dream again.
I can cause her
to reach out to
the nations again.
Why
has she abandoned
Me?
Why has
she turned from
Me?
I am not her enemy,
but I am her friend."
Like
a loving Father
Like a good and
loving father God
has warned America
to turn from her
path of self-destruction.
And just as a loving
father He will do
whatever it takes
to cause her to
awake.
