Comments
on David Wilkerson's
Warning
|
|
Many
have seen
and heard
David Wilkerson's
recent warning
to America.
We believe
we are to
share some
key thoughts
with you today
regarding
this.
We
find throughout
Holy Scripture,
the true
prophets of
God brought
correction,
direction,
and at times
warnings of
judgment.
They often
came on the
scene at key
times in history.
Many times
their initial
warnings came
years before
the fulfillment,
because God
in His great
mercy allows
time for people
to hear His
voice clearly,
and repent.
But
there is a
point when
mercy must
give way to
God's holy
justice. We
believe America
is on the
verge of this
today. See
why here.

The
Warning
We have great respect
for David Wilkerson
and his ministry.
His warning from
March 7th (link)
was about New York
and many other cities
burning, riots in
the streets, and
more. We
encourage everyone
to prayerfully take
this warning seriously.
We
personally have
taken this warning
to heart, as it
seems to confirm
several things God
has been speaking
to us regarding
our nation. See
the "America,
America!"
prophecy.
Prophet
of Doom or Love
and Hope?
In
today's "cozy
church" culture
we realize warnings
and prophecies such
as this are not
always well received,
and some may dismiss
this as just something
coming from a "prophet
of doom." Sadly,
just as in Jeremiah's
day, many
in America and the
Church have fallen
into such an unrighteous
and deceived state
that the people,
including the priests
and prophets
seem
to only want soft
words of blessing
and prosperity.
Although these
words and warnings
may seem hard, the
prophet understands
they are accountable
before God, to speak
what He instructs
them to speak.
We
believe that David
Wilkerson, like
Jeremiah, is not
a prophet of doom,
rather, he is a
prophet consumed
with a love for
God, for His people
and for our nation.
And this
is why he is willing
to speak boldly
what God has so
heavily put upon
his heart, even
at the risk of being
misunderstood, rejected
and mocked. May
God give us more
in the Church today
who are willing
to speak the truth,
no matter what the
cost.
God's
prophets will not
only warn, but often
include a way of
HOPE and conditional
restoration.
As with America
today – there
is a way out, but
the only way is
God's way –
true repentance!
Can
These Things Change?
YES! God longs to
show mercy, and
He is pleading with
America to heed
His warnings and
turn back to Him,
but if she will
not, judgment must
come. There
is only ONE way
– humble ourselves
before God and repent
(2 Chron. 7:14),
or America will
be humbled before
all the nations.

Repentance
Must Begin
in God's House
"But
if she [America]
does not repent
and turn,
she will see
My judgment
And it MUST
begin, repentance
Must begin
with My Church.
Must begin
with the Leaders
in My house."
from
"America
Has A Decision
to Make"
(May. 26,
08)
Larry
Stockstill
recently said:
"We must
move quickly
to turn this
nation around
and it
has to start
with the pastors."

THE
GOOD NEWS for God's
People
In
January our main
message and theme
for 2009 to the
Church was:
Singin'
in the Rain
– the Coming
Rain of God's Glory
and Judgment.
(See
original message
here.)
We encourage you
to go back, read
this, and keep it
before you.
As
in the Days of Moses
As
gross darkness and
judgment comes,
we will see a
separation between
His people and the
world –
like He did 3500
years ago with Israel
and Egypt.
Ark
of Safety –
As in the Days of
Noah
God has also been
preparing an Ark,
an ark of Glory
and protection,
a great covering
for His people.
In
His Ark of Glory,
under the umbrella
of His wings, there
will be safety,
great peace, and
provision, in the
midst of great turmoil.
A place to "Sing
in the Rain!"
His
Glory Will Arise
As gross darkness
comes, God's glory
will arise upon
His people and they
will help lead the
way. More on this
later.

"Arise,
shine; for your
light is come,
and the glory
of the LORD
is risen upon
you. For,
behold, the
darkness shall
cover the earth,
and gross darkness
the people:
but the LORD
shall arise
upon you, and
His glory shall
be seen upon
you." Isa
60:1-2. |
