It is such a blessing to share this with you today as we believe this is just the beginning of what God is really wanting to do in our nation. We were recently informed that Governors from five states are officially calling for a day of prayer this Sunday June 27th. You can read their official proclamations, along with our suggested prayer guide below. We are now at day 64 of the oil spill, and up to this point all of man’s efforts to stop this leak have been unsuccessful.
What Will Move God's Hand?
We honor these Governors and people for acknowledging God in this crisis, and our prayer and hope is that they will not only cry out for His help in time of need, but that there would also be a moving by the Holy Spirit upon their hearts for sincere and genuine repentance on behalf of our nation. |
We believe this is what God is looking for from America, and this is what will move His heart and His hand on our behalf. God loves America and because of this we believe He will not allow us to abandon this passionate Call for National Prayer and Repentance from coast to coast, until we see a true Great Awakening.
Band-Aid or the Source?
Prayer is powerful, but praying alone for God to just fix this problem and make it go away is like putting a band aid on a deeply infected wound – it won't have lasting affect unless we deal with the real source of the problem. As a nation, we have offended God, we have grieved His heart. See how here.

As In Elijah's Day
We believe God wants the Church to deal with the source of all the serious problems America is now facing, so He can bring true healing to our nation. God loves America and knows what must first take place before She can be completely healed and restored. By His Spirit, God is calling America to her knees in prayer and repentance, beginning with the Church – She must set the example for the nation.
Just as in Elijah's Day God wants all of America and all the false religions in our nation to know that He is the one true God, that He reigns over the kingdoms of men, and that He is to be feared above all gods. Psalm 96:4
Who Controls the Depths of the Sea?
Twice this week during our prayer times, God spoke to us regarding His control over the deep places of the earth and sea. "Whatever the LORD pleases He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deep places." Psalm 135:6 & Psalm 95

The Devil or God's Judgments?
Whether people believe this calamity is of the Devil or God’s judgments (we believe it's the later). God ultimately has power over all the elements and can start or stop anything He so chooses – that's one reason we call Him ALMIGHTY! We see even Satan had to get God’s permission before he could strike Job. May we all be reminded that God is America’s only hope.

God is Able – Will He?
God controls it all and is able to fix the Oil Spill problem. The question is will He? Will the prayers devoted to this be enough, or is God waiting for National Repentance to begin – from the Pulpits, to the Pews, to the Multitudes? May His will be done.
Suggested Prayer Guidelines
We encourage you all to join in prayer, and we ask you to please pray as follows.
1. Pray that the Holy Spirit will move heavily upon the hearts of these State Leaders, Governors and the people with a genuine spirit and heart of repentance as they pray.
2. Pray they would sincerely acknowledge God as the Most High who reigns over the kingdoms of men, the heavens and the earth, and the depths of the sea (Psalm 95; Daniel 4:2-3).
3. Pray for Israel, and that the United Staes would fully support her in every way.
4. Also, Pray that if God does move and stop this leak, that they will officially acknowledge His intervention with a day of thanksgiving, and not forget Him and go back to their own ways.
