Are you ready for what God is about to do? When we consider the power, majesty, and glory of God, it can literally take our breath away! As the Church of Jesus Christ moves forward, let us be reminded of His Glory!
As the Prophets of old stood before the King of Glory, they were left speechless and completely undone. We should never, ever, ever limit the power of our God and His ability to complete the work He has begun in His Church and in our lives! Let His word speak to you today and remind you of His power and ability to follow through to the end!
TO WHOM THEN WILL YOU LIKEN ME?
To whom then will you liken Me,
Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes on high,
And see who has created these things,
Who brings out their host by number;
He calls them all by name,
By the greatness of His might
And the strength of His power;
Not one is missing.
Isaiah 40:25-26
MY ENCOUNTER WITH HIS POWER:
Many years ago, I (Cindy) had an encounter with Christ that left me in fear and awe of His power! I will never forget it! Darrel and I had been in worship and prayer. I decided to lie down to rest as Darrel worked on his artwork at the foot of the bed (before computers). Interestingly, that artwork was about America and a Prophetic vision (we actually have that artwork in our previous book, God’s Answer For America). I think I fell asleep, but I’m not sure, because what happened next was too real!
I CRIED OUT, PLEASE STOP!
What happened next was so real and yet unbelievable! This was definitely not a dream. To my left, an image of Christ began to slowly emerge. I first saw His feet and sandals, and then the bottom of His robe. It was so real, He was in the room!
As I beheld more of Him, the power of God overwhelmed me and became unbearable; I felt as if my entire being were about to explode! I could not handle it; I thought for a moment I was going to die! Out of desperation, I cried out loudly, almost screaming, “Stop!” Stop! Please Stop!”
He then began to fade away. Of course, I did not want Him to leave me, but my flesh could not stand in the presence of such purity and power, not for a moment longer! I believe He revealed Himself to me that day to demonstrate the true greatness of His power and glory, so I would never forget. Through the years, I have had similar experiences, the kind that mark you for life! No one can ever tell me that He is not alive! He is very much alive, and I can’t wait for the whole world to see Him in all His Glory!
THE RAW POWER OF GOD
I’m not sure if we, as the Church, truly understand the greatness of His power. Many have experienced His amazing presence in worship services and, at times, felt a measure of His power. But what we experience is really a very limited and veiled measure of this King of Glory!
If we were truly exposed to the raw, unfiltered power of God, I don’t think any of us would survive! Just ponder a moment the power of His creation, for example, the sun itself to heat and light up the whole world. He created that!! Leaves me almost speechless! I can’t fathom why anyone would want to choose a fight with Him! I’d rather have Him as my Father, my God, and my closest friend! And to think this King of Glory stoops down to pick and raise us up – He loves us that much!
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm. 19:1
Let us never forget that He is the King of Glory and He is able to finish the work He has begun. He declares the end from the beginning, and at the same time is our Father and our friend!
HE IS PREPARING US – HIS GLORIOUS CHURCH
He is preparing His Church! He’s cleansing, purifying, and strengthening her with the power of His Word! He’s preparing to raise her up on the earth as His Glorious, Victorious Church. This is a time of preparation. He’s setting the stage for a greater glory! It will be at a level we have not yet seen. So, get ready!
THE GLORY THAT SHALL BE REVEALED!

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed IN US.

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
