John 1:4 – “In Yeshua/Jesus exists Life and this Life was the Light of men.” While mediating on this – that all Life comes from Him and this light is the light of men, I was reminded of a recent report that scientists discovery that at conception (when the sperm and egg become one) there is a “Flash of Light!” Wow!
At least three more thoughts come to mind with this:
1. Our glorious God is the Father of Lights (James 1:17) – He is the Father of all mankind.
2. This is more solid evidence that LIFE in the womb BEGINS at Conception (not weeks/months later).
3. In Christ is LIFE and when we choose to truly follow Him and lay down/loose our life (self, wants, desires) we find True Life IN HIM! a glorious Life that is beyond anything we could imagine. Btw all 4 gospels speak of this truth, some more than once (Matt 10:39/16:25; Mark 8:35; Luke 9:24/17:33; John 12:25).
God has a Life for us on a whole other level if we will embrace it (that’s a a whole other message). And He wants His LIGHT to shine through us – for we are the Light of the World! (Matt 5:14)
