As we approach Super Tuesday and the Presidential Election we want to share two important things. First is to bring much needed perspective as we all seek God in regards to the elections and His plans for our nation. We share this perspective in our featured cover story titled 2016 Election: The Most Important Vote of Your Lifetime from the July issue from Charisma Magazine. We encourage you to read the article here.

Secondly, we want to encourage everyone to pray and to vote for those things that we know will honor God  and His Word.  May we also be reminded of Proverbs 29:2  that when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules the people groan and also of Proverbs 14:34 that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach.

In All Your Ways Acknowledge God
Proverbs 3:6 (NLT)  instructs us: Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

In this election we believe it is more critical than ever to acknowledge God and ask Him to direct our paths. Unfortunately, we are in a day and time when most of what we hear or read are ½ truths and spun to make us think and respond a certain way. The media knows how to shift and move the masses.

We absolutely cannot make our decisions fully on what we read or hear or even what a candidate tells us. We can look at history and records but these also do not always give us the full story – we need to do our research then pray and seek the Lord as He alone sees, hears and knows all things. He has seen the back room deals and knows what is in a man’s heart and who will best lead our nation.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY
for our Nation, our Churches, Pastors and Leaders

We close, encouraging you to pray according to God’s Word – with PURE, PASSIONATE and PERSISTENT PRAYER! As described in our book, God’s Answer For America.

We also pray that the perfect will, the plans and purposes of God for our nation will be fulfilled!  May His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!

I Timothy 2:1-4 -– exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

I Timothy 2:8 – Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

Luke 18:1 – And he spake a parable unto them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints

James 5:16 – Confess your faults one to another (repentance), and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

2 Chronicles 7:14 – Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
