Several years ago, the Lord spoke a very clear word to us regarding the call on our lives and the tactics the enemy would use to try to stop us. If you are called of God, you probably know this to be true. Satan does not easily give up territory, and he will fight. You need to be ready! We’re sharing this with you today because we want to see you overcome and finish your race strong. The following is what God spoke.

“You must stay focused on the call, and refute ALL the lies of the enemy! For day and night, he will fight and taunt and try to terrorize you so he can paralyze you!

You must cling to My word and cling to Me. Stay girded up, alert, and Ready! Keep the vision (what God has spoken over your life) clear and near to you, peer into it! It will keep you straight and steady, going in the right direction.

The enemy will attempt to use even My word to deceive you as he did with Eve. He will twist and turn it to cause you to lay down your weapons and give in to the fight! You cannot listen!

This is why the vision must be clear and kept near. You must peer into it.”

We know God instructs us to meditate in His word day and night (the written and revealed word) because God knows the enemy will put up a fierce fight, especially against those on the front lines.

Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

We See This Same Strategy and Battle With Goliath
Think about this: Goliath paralyzed the entire army of Israel with his words, threats, and lies. He taunted, terrorized, and paralyzed them to stop them from taking action and moving forward. In sports, they call this trash talk… It’s to intimidate the opponent, break their focus, and momentum.

Satan will try to do the same with you! Don’t tolerate it for a moment! Get back in his face with the word! Goliath caused God’s army to doubt their God and doubt themselves. This is what Satan wants to do to you. Don’t let him! It’s time to fight back- you should be on the attack instead of being the attacked!

David’s secret weapon was that he had been with God and wasn’t about to fall for the lies and intimidation! Remember, God’s word is one of your most powerful weapons, your S-WORD, coupled with worship. Satan hates it, and he cannot stand against it, so be sure you are meditating on, thinking it, speaking it, and doing it, day and night, if you want to win the fight!
